Original Cast Album. The first album released, this is a highlights recording of the show, featuring 13 songs, many of which were changed or cut further down the road, and generally for the better! What I can gather from the story on this album is pretty different from what the show ended up being, although some of the musical themes are there.

Live Norwegian Cast. A double CD of a performance from Slottsfjellet in 1990, the show has developed a lot here from the studio recording. There have been a lot of changes to the music as well as the story. Benedicte Adrian sounds fantastic here, the rest of the cast are very good, and the quality of the recording as a whole is excellent, especially for a live recording.

London Cast Recording. The story continues to develop and change with each album! The story is even more complete here, and the lyrics are a big improvement over the previous recordings. There are some new songs (like "Yours"), and others have been revamped. Unfortunately the sound quality is not as good here as on the live recording, and Benedicte Adrian doesn't sound quite as great as she did on the prior one either. Still, if you were only going to get one recording of this show, I would probably recommend that it be this one.
