Into the Woods is a favourite among amateur theatre groups around the world. The original production of the show opened on Broadway on November 5, 1987. Read more about the development of the musical.

I have three different recordings of this show so far...read my reviews of the CDs, or listen to a clip from one of the songs.

Along with the audio recording, the original Broadway production has been released on video/DVD - read more about that recording.

I haven't seen this show on stage yet! And even with the production on Broadway last year, I didn't manage to see it, sadly. (Well, I could have, but come on, who has $100 to spend on a show??) So, I'll have to wait until the next time it's mounted somewhere near me, and I'll be sure to add some thoughts on the show here then!

There are several really great parts in this show - and several great performers who have played them! Read a bit more about some of my favourites.

Once you're done looking around here, check out some of the other Into the Woods sites that are out there.
