Marissa Jaret Winokur. She's one of those people that you recognize but you don't know where you're seen them before...well, I'll remember her after this! She's really sweet and likeable as Tracy, and can sing a lot better than I would have thought! :-) I haven't seen her dance yet, but I would definitely like to see her in this show on stage. Harvey Fierstein. Okay, I have to admit I wasn't thrilled when I heard about this casting - I thought it was just a gimmick, and besides, he can't really sing. But from all I've heard, he steals the show, and is a fantastic presence and energy on stage. So I guess I'll keep my mouth shut until I see him on stage for myself! :-)

Kerry Butler. I loved her in Bat Boy, and she is even more adorable here, if that's possible. She's perfect as the slightly dim Penny, and then when she belts out with that big voice, you can't figure out where it's coming from! She's just great. Matthew Morrison. I never saw Footloose, so this was the first time I'd heard him sing, and it came as a very enjoyable surprise! He's just got a sweet, pure voice.
