Original Broadway Cast. I got this recording after having seen the movie and listened to the London version many times, so it was a bit strange to hear someone other than Topol as Tevye! But I've come to really enjoy this version as well. It also includes two tracks not on the London recording - The Wedding Dance and The Rumour.

Original London Cast. I bought this right after seeing the movie, and I think overall I may actually prefer this recording to the movie soundtrack. Topol is, of course, wonderful as Tevye, and the rest of the cast is very good as well. I love "Tevye's Dream" on this recording - Topol is a hoot! I also prefer many of the arrangements here to those on the Broadway recording.
