Les Dix Commandements had its premiere at the Palais des Sports in Paris on October 4, 2000. Following the Paris run, the show toured France, with a return stop in Paris in late 2001. There was another tour of France in 2002 before returning to Paris in January of 2003. Its final French performance was on June 27, 2003, at which time it had played to more than 2 million people.

In March and April of 2002, the show was seen at Th��tre St Denis in Montreal, Canada, with a combination of French and Quebecois actors. Productions were also mounted in Belgium and Switzerland.

Most recently, the show was produced in Italy in 2003, where it played in Milan, Rome, Parma and Sicily. A DVD version of this production was also released.

An English-language version of the show will star Val Kilmer as Moses, and is scheduled to open at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on September 27, 2004.
