![]() | Gilles Chiasson. OK, I loved him in Pimpernel, so I was excited to be seeing him again anyway. But he just totally blew me away in this part. His solos in "How Many Devils?" were one of the most amazing things I've ever heard. He's just got such an amazing voice! To find out more, visit For the Honor of Your Name. |
Gene Miller. I'd heard just a *little* bit about this man before I went to see the show. ;-) But, even with all that buildup, he still impressed. Though he doesn't have what I'd call a "theatre" voice, it's still lovely to listen to, and I really enjoyed the emotion he brought to the part. But then he opened his mouth. :-) He has the kind of voice that I enjoy in many of my favourite country singers, which I think is part of the reason I liked listening to him so much. And he made a great foil to Gene's Confederate captain...the two of them were just great together! |
Cheryl Freeman. How amazing is this woman?! Though I didn't care for many of the songs she sang, she still did them incredibly well, and the part of the show where she and her husband are re-united made me tear up each time. On top of that, she's just one of the nicest people I've ever met! | ![]() |
![]() | Michel Bell. Wow. I just *love* his bass. I've been a fan of him since Show Boat, and seeing him live was just great. I think "Father, How Long?" was one of my favourite moments in the show, if only because I just enjoyed listening to him sing so much! For more, please visit Michel Bell - Bass/Baritone. |
Matt Bogart. Is it really fair that they kill him off in like the fourth song of the show?! He does a *gorgeous* "Tell My Father", a good angry young man at the beginning, and just looks darn good doing it all! :-) And I *think* he's a sweet guy, though Kristal never really let me near him. ;-) Find out more for yourself at the Official Matt Bogart Website. | ![]() |
