Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium

The stage adaptation of the film opened at the London Palladium on April 16, 2002. The show was nominated for three Olivier Awards, for 'Best New Musical', 'Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical or Entertainment' (Nichola McAuliffe) and 'Best Set Designer' (Anthony Ward). It continues to play in London. The Broadway production opened at the Hilton Theatre on April 28, 2005. It was nominated for five Tony Awards, including three for acting (Erin Dilly, Marc Kudisch and Jan Maxwell). It is currently running in New York.
