Bebe NeuwirthBebe Neuwirth. Best known to many as Lilith from Cheers, Bebe makes a fantastic Velma Kelly! She is a talented singer, and very good at letting many different kinds of emotion come across while she's singing - not an easy thing to do! For much more about Bebe, take a trip to the Bebe Neuwirth Web Site.
Ann Reinking. I've been a fan of hers forever, since the movie of "Annie" was a part of my early childhood. As Grace Farrell, she just seemed the epitome of elegance. And though Roxie is a very different part (to say the least!), it just helps to show her versatility! I had the chance to meet her during Fosse, and I'll always remember it! Pia DouwesPia Douwes. This is one of those performers who can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned!! Everything I've ever heard her in, she has been brilliant. I wish I could have seen her in this role on stage, but listening to her fantastic version of "All die Jazz" is a good start! Read more about Pia and all the shows she's been in at the Pia Douwes Fanclub.
Ute Lemper. I actually became familiar with Ute outside of musicals before I ever heard her in anything to do with theatre. She has such a unique and great voice, and she makes a fantastic Velma! You can find a bit more Ute at the Decca Music Group site.Ute Lemper
