![]() | Elanie Paige. She's Florence on the London cast recording, and she's wonderful! I think she's really good at bringing out Florence's vulnerability, and plus I just love her voice! :-) Find out more about Elaine at the Official Elaine Paige Website. |
Judy Kuhn. She's Florence on the Broadway recording, and I LOVE her version of all the songs. :-) Maybe it's because she's the first one I heard, but she just sounds like Florence to me. To find out more about her, visit the unofficial Judy Kuhn website! | ![]() |
![]() | Helen Sjholm. I absolutely adored Helen on the recording of Kristina frn Duvemla, so I was excited to hear her as Florence, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! It's a wonderful performance, and even better when seen on the DVD. If you're interested in more, visit this beautiful site for Helen. |
Stig Rossen. He is Anatoly on the Danish cast recording, and he is just fantastic! Although I have heard many, many talented actors perform "Anthem" outside of the show, I was disappointed in the renditions on the other cast recordings. But he just nails it, along with everything else in the show! You can learn much more about Stig at his official website. | ![]() |
![]() | Christiane Noll. Christiane is wonderful too. :-) I was so excited when I heard she would be taking part in the Chess concert, because I adore her voice to begin with, and she did an amazing job!! She didn't sing all of Florence's songs, since they split them up between her and Alice Ripley, but the ones she did sing were just gorgeous! For more, check out the Official Christiane Noll website. |
Brian d'Arcy James. He sang the part of Freddie at a Chess concert in New York, and he was wonderful, as would be expected. :-) Although he did some strange things at the end of Pity the Child...but overall, it was just amazing.
