By Jeeves at the Helen Hayes Theatre in New York

Originally titled Jeeves, this show was first performed in 1975. A certified flop, the show was re-conceived as By Jeeves! in the mid-90's, and the production in Scarborough, opening May 1, 1996, was sold-out and critically acclaimed. The North American premiere of By Jeeves! was at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, CT in December 1996. It opened on Broadway on October 30, 2001 at the Helen Hayes Theatre and closed December 28, 2001. It has also been recorded and broadcast on CBC's Opening Night in Canada. The rights are now available for amateur productions.
