Growing up in the Australian outback, it would have been hard for Peter Allen to imagine the future that lay in store for him. From his beginnings in country pubs to winning an Oscar for song-writing, he proved just how far talent and determination can take a person. I've had the Australian recording of this show for a while, but it wasn't until I saw the show that I really started to listen to it. And bought the Broadway recording as well, of course! Read my reviews of the CDs, or listen to a clip from one of my favourite songs.
