Original London Cast. This CD really looks more like a pop CD than a casts recording - with the big pictures inside, and no synopsis or libretto (boo! hiss!). And indeed, the music on the CD isn't exactly what you'd call convential show tunes either. :-) However, I really like it!! The Indian-flavoured songs work well, and there are some gorgeous, more "traditional" ballads as well. The cast is really great as well. Probably my biggest problem with the show in general is that some of the lyrics are weak, which bothers me a litle while listening to the CD, but not enough to make me stop listening! :-)
