Deven MayDeven May. I had never heard or seen Deven in anything before this show, and I was very, very impressed. Not only was he wonderful as the "bat child", with all his mannerisms and movements, but he was funny and touching as Edgar, and has a beautiful singing voice on top of it all. He's also an incredibly nice person! I hope to see him in many more shows in the future.
Kaitlin Hopkins. She is another actor I wasn't familiar with, as she'd worked mostly in L.A. prior to this show. However, I can't imagine this show without her, and especially the connection between her and Deven. She also has a lovely voice, and could be a lot funnier than you might first think! Here's a small page devoted to her.Kaitlin Hopkins
Sean McCourtSean McCourt. Here's somebody I had seen before. :-) I saw Sean in Titanic, but this show gave me more of an opportunity to see his singing and acting abilities. Dr. Parker is a role that lets you go to extremes, and he made the most of it! I love the bit in "Comfort and Joy" where he's arguing with the voices in his head. :-) Anyway, learn much more about him at Sean McCourt dot com.
Kerry Butler. I had heard of Kerry before, but this was my first time seeing her on stage, and she was great! She's so cute, but with this big voice that just blows you away. I love her little beat-boxing bit in "Watcha gonna do". :-) Visit the Official Kerry Butler website for more.Kerry Butler
Doug StormDoug Storm. Doug was actually the main reason I went to see this show, even though he's got a comparatively smaller role than the other people listed above. Still, he was very memorable as both Rick and Lorraine. I think the thing that made me laugh the most in the whole show was when he died as Rick, and then got up and became Lorraine mourning over himself. :-) His official site is currently MIA, but hopefully it will return soon.
