Original Danish Cast. I was hooked on this pretty much from the first song. The music is just great, and really enjoyable to listen to. The cast is first-rate, and the orchestrations are good for the most part (a few things sound a little weak to me, but overall, it's fine). Favourite songs would have to include "Alle Andre Steder", "Hil Atlantis" and "Morgen P� Atlantis". I also love the melody that the sirens sing in the opening song, which is later repeated in "Kvinde-Terzet". But honestly, there are no songs I want to skip over. I would recommend this CD, whether you understand any Danish or not! :-)

English Studio Cast. Finally, I got to hear this show in English! And unlike most of the shows I've heard lately, the translations are actually really good for the most part. Nothing that really makes me cringe, anyway! The cast is also wonderful - a couple of holdovers from the Danish CDs, and the new performers have grown on me very quickly, especially Anders Tiegen as Jabbadoor. The orchestrations are the same as the Danish cast, and the whole thing sounds great. I don't know if I could choose between this one and the Danish cast - I think they're both essential!
