King Atlas' daughter Adalena has fled the palace in disguise. The world outside is exciting, but dangeroux. She meets Jabbadoor's soldiers, who have just arrived home. (The Rape) Silvan and Adalena arrange to meet the next day. Silvan runs home and tells her mother, Salene, that he is in love. Salene tells him about how she met his father, Kelvin. Silvan and Princess Adalena meet again. They are in love, but Atlas threatens to destroy their happiness. (The Black Clouds) In a tavern Silvan meets Jabbadoor's sly servant, Zan-Zan, who tells him the story of his life. (Keep Close to Heroes) Adalena's lady-in-waiting Miranda warns Adalena about the dangers of love. (That Fever Called Love)
After a fight with Adalena, Atlas wonders about and doubts his royal power.(Atlas' Soliloquy) Zan-Zan suggest to Jabbadoor that Silvan can become a weapon against Atlas. (Miss Consida) At the victory feast Jabbadoor sings the kingdom's national anthem. (Hail Atlantis) Zan-Zan has invited Silvan to the party and during the dance the inevitable happens. (Rrokenka)
Silvan is taken to prison, but Jabbadoor frees him, and orders Silvan to murder Atlas. (The Murder of Atlas) Silvan is blamed for Atlas' death and must flee. (The Flight)
The people are afraid and confused, and need a strong leader: Jabbadoor.(The Gods Have Forbidden It) Silvan has fled into the mountains. He misses Adalena and plots his revenge on Jabbadoor. (Where are you now, Adalena?)
Jabbadoor seduces Adalena, but the morning after he regrets it. (Prayer to Ba'al-Zebub) Miranda is in love with Jabbadoor, and seeks out Adalena in Salene's prison cell. They begin to argue. (The Women's Trio) Adalena now knows for sure that Silvan is innocent. She cries to Poseidon for help. (If there is a Ruler)
The priests have also fled into the mountains, away from Jabbadoor's new regime. Koptos, a young priest, greets the dawning day. (Morning on Atlantis)
Zan-Zan tricks Adalena into believing that Silvan is dead. She goes to Salene, who lies near death because of Jabbadoor's mistreatment. Swearing hatred of Jabbadoor, Adalena realizes she must take matters into her own hands. (We Are Blind) Jabbadoor is going to marry Adalena, who carries his child. There is a celebration, and everyone prepares for a powerful battle and conquest. (Trust in Jabbadoor)
Silvan interrupts the wedding ceremony and fights with Jabbadoor, who is too strong for him. Adalena threatens to kill her unborn child, and Jabbadoor allows Silvan to escape with Adalena. Jabbadoor and the people are ready for the battle, when the catastrope strikes Atlantis. (Epilogue)
