![]() | Victor Garber. I just adore Victor as an actor, in movies, TV, and especially in theatre. He is a wonderful John Wilkes Booth, with a great voice, and a deadpan delivery of some of my favourite lines that make me pay attention to him every time I listen to it. To find out more about Victor, there's a brief bio at this site. |
Terrence Mann. Another actor that I love in a variety of things, Terrence didn't have a huge part in this show, but he handled it perfectly. The official site isn't online any more, but you can read a bit more about Terrence at Wikipedia. | ![]() |
![]() | Marc Kudisch. I've been a fan of Marc's for some time as well (this is a recurring theme for actors in this show!), and he did a fantastic job as the Proprietor. I almost didn't recognize him! He's perfectly sleazy and compelling at the same time. DAAM!: The Marc Kudisch Website has much more on this great actor. |
Michael Cerveris. Anyone who's playing a role originated by Victor Garber is going to have a lot to live up to in my mind. But Michael is fantastic here. He's nearly unrecognizable as well, with the accent and costume and all, but his Booth strikes exactly the right mix of egotism and charm. Take a trip on the Amazing Journey: Michael Cerveris' official site to learn more. | ![]() |
![]() | James Barbour. Again, taking on a role that I associate with Terrence Mann is not much easier than assuming a Victor Garber one. But I knew if anyone had a shot, James would be right up there. He's got such a great voice, and his accent as Czolgosz was perfect. He really made me feel for the character, there were times he seemed almost child-like. Read more about him at the Official James Barbour Website. |
Neil Patrick Harris. Although he's done quite a few things on stage now, this was my first chance to see him for myself, and I was really impressed! He's got a great voice, and his change from the Balladeer to Lee Harvey Oswald was expertly done. I'd love to see him in more shows. Here's one page on Neil that you can start with. | ![]() |
