This show has received a lot of praise from critics and fans alike! It premiered at the New York Theatre Festival in September 2004, and opened on March 1, 2005 at Dodger Stages off-Broadway in New York, where it continues to play. It is also on a national tour, and has already played in South Korea, Hungary, Finland, and the Philippines. It won the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Awards for Outstanding Off-Broadway musical.
