![]() | Pia Douwes. She is the reason I became aware of this show in the first place, and one of the main reasons for enjoying it. She is one of my favourite female performers in the world, and I think she's brilliant in everything she does. What else is there to say? :-) Check out this fan site for more! |
Uwe Krger. Though I don't consider myself one of those obsessive Uwe fans, I do still tend to enjoy him in pretty much everything he does, and this one is no exception. He brought to Richelieu a sense of coldness, calculation and lust for power that are just perfect for the character. The sharpness of his pronounciation, the way he just chews off certain words, are exactly right. For more, check out his official site. | ![]() |
![]() | Patrick Stanke. I first heard him on the Titanic cast recording, and loved him as Barrett, and he does a very good job as D'Artagnan here. It's not my favourite character in the show, but he's got a different take on in than Bastiaan Ragas, and I couldn't honestly say which I preferred - they're both totally valid. His official site has much more. |
Bastiaan Ragas. He plays D'Artagnan in this show, and I wasn't really sure what to expect. I'd enjoyed his performance on the Aida CD, but I didn't know how I'd like him in another role. But, it turned out that I really enjoy his performance, and hope I can see him in another show sometime. Visit Bastiaan Ragas.com to find out more! | ![]() |
![]() | Stanley Burleson. You can tell when someone's a good actor when they're playing the villain in a show, and part of you wants them to succeed. :-) I enjoyed Stanley in Elisabeth, and this recording sounded just as good! You can find out a little bit more about him here. |
Henk Poort. The cast of this show is like a "who's who" of Dutch theatre. This was a name I knew from Phantom, and once again, it was great to hear him do some different material! There is a biography of him at this site. | ![]() |
